Elegant port. Balance and an attractive finish. Very good indeed but is on top and will probably not be better. Lots of tannin and promising.

Balanced but will not be better. Very easy to drink and enjoy today. Rather complex with a round finish. Number of tastings 12 Bouquet Generous and attractive bouquet of herbs, spring flowers, liquorice and cacao but also still some dark berries in the nose.

Quite mature but still with some elegant and attractive tannins and will probably be better. Lovely flavour of liquorice and herbs.

Quite sweet but balanced and complex with a long and attractive finish. Very good indeed. Number of tastings 3 Bouquet Dark fruit with dark berries and liquorice. A bit shy in the nose. Some dark berries in the taste. Still some tannins and a bit closed at the moment. Will hopefully be better. Number of tastings 1 Bouquet Juicy and fruity in the nose.

Taste Medium body. Lots of tannin and immature. Very fruity. Rather long finish. Long way to go. Very dark red. Completely opaque. The nose is surprisingly closed given how long I have given it in the decanter. Nice meaty port. A good weight with a chewy texture and tons of black fruits.

It drinks very well right now but has enough substance to last a decade or more with no trouble. This is a very good value VP. Buy all you can and drink it whenever you think ODS is setting in. French Air Trafic Control are attempting to block all in-coming relief shipments but I am led to believe that our covert forces have dug a tunnel to allow a small quantity of aid to reach the tortured souls in Paris as quickly as possible.

Our thoughts are with you all. Soft dark fruits. Lots of tannin and quite dry on the palate. Very good drinking port. Just the sort of thing you would wish your distant friends had a glass of to share with you in times of need. My schedule is already full. It looks a lot younger than Great weight, very sweet and long, with some heat mid-palate.
